Used for

AGS-15/1 – is the aerosol fire extinguishing generator which is suitable for use on fires in class B subclass A2, localization of the fire in the closed areas subclass A1, including premises with the cable and electrical equipment with voltage up to 40 kV where firefighting can be done without human participation.

In case of initiation, the generator will be activated with delay and the response time will be enough to put the generator into burning premise.

The firefighters, train teams and all other users can use AGS-15/1 generators upon familiarization with the manual and guides on application and safety requirements of the generators which are considered as a providers for a “first attack” on fire localization and fire extinguishing in closed premises, especially in the premises with the difficult access or in case of threat to personnel’s lives.

It should be noted that one generator is recommended to use for protection of the compartment of up to 40 m³ if there are no open apertures in the ceiling or in fencing construction in this compartment.

If the compartment has the open apertures, the number of generators to be moved to this compartment should be increased and air circulation should be limited by closing windows, doors, hatches, etc.

For specific and particular protected area, it is necessary to provide regular and uninterruptable supply of generators.

If it is possible, the generator should be placed in the free area of the premise so that the generator will be installed on flat surface (on the floor) without any obstruction for the aerosol discharge ports.

AGS-15/1 generators are not used for fire extinguishing in the open spaces.

After placing generator into the premise under fire, the operating state of it is horizontal, on the upper or lower surface of the generator.

In case of need and in addition to the AGS-15/1 generator the other firefighting mediums can be applied to ensure full fire extinguishing.
